Truck driver b.s.

The weld on one of the brackets broke. There's a lot of force in one of those air bags when your fully loaded at 70k or more. Once the bracket weld broke it just folded the plate over like it was nothing.
Again, a 30 year old rusty trailer.
Yeah I'm still lookin.

 

Now that makes more sense.

just got back from our morning walk, only saw 1 Deer. Just started dehydrated roma tomatoes from garden.

 

Getting unloaded, day is almost done, be less that 4 hours today.
My p.o.s. truck has some major power loss, can't get it up to speed or build rpm. It's gotta go back in again. Really getting tired of these worn out trucks.
So my trailer and truck will be out for repairs next week. Great.........

 

Barely keep the equipment on the road gotta squeeze every cent out of the freight.

I can see this now the shop instructed to only fix enough to get it back on the road.

I don`t miss those days. Those clueless mechanics any accident is going to have them hung out to dry.

 

It was a company called Star truck rental. Penske recently bought them out. We'll see how this goes. If I'm still there.
Funny thing is it won't run right now so they have to fix it. But watch how many times I pick it up and it goes back.

 

Back to work tonight. Company phone took a shit. Suggested it might be a good idea to give me a loaner till my replacement arrives since we run logs and payroll through them. And I don't want to break down in the middle of nowhere without a phone. Oh yeah, good idea was my supervisor response. Idiots...

 

Their idea was to carry my broken phone to show DOT if I got pulled in. Yeah, that's gonna fly....

I'm just a local driver so we don't have to use electronic logs. Just a trip sheet with every stop and time in and out. So simple.

 

New week, 5 days, no truck and no trailer as both are down for repairs. Truck went down Saturday, no power, really hard to get the rpms up and get her up to speed. So I'm sure I'll be dropping and hooking today.

 

Spilled coffee in my truck. Time for an unscheduled stop.

 

Well I'm in a rental truck, seems decent. Another driver is on vacation so I have his trailer this week.
3 out of 4 trucks are down.

 

Make him print a copy your last seven days elogs Especially if he has to get out of bed to come and do it lol
