Right on. I've used Solidworks, AutoCAD, Fusion and Creo at work. Fun making stuff whether its a physical part or in CAD. One thing you will have to check is the thread pitch on your stock shifter. I believe its the same as mine (M8x1.25) so it should work but good to verify anyway.

Does anyone have a 3d model of the cup holder seen below that they would be willing to share? I have an idea that I would like to try.

You'll probably need to use a mechanical connection like a nut and bolts with two overlapping flanges in order to make a solid less flimsy connection. Your slide idea is pretty neat but not great for the terrible tolerances created by 3d printing.

Any 3D printed auto/moto parts, or is this thread restricted to Tacoma only? I've done a bit in other areas, but nothing for the Taco yet.

    Hi all!
Would anyone in the PNW be willing to print 8 of these for me? I can pay for time and shipping.

Trying to seal up my DIY Wedge Camper I'm building based on RipCord's design.

    Thanks!

I'm not in the PNW but I can print them depending on what material you want.

    Hey everyone!

I'm thrilled to announce that my Cowl Intake kits and 3D printed HVAC covers are finally available for purchase!

It's been a crazy few months getting everything ready, with some setbacks along the way. My 3D printer broke, but I quickly purchased a second one to make up for lost time.

I'm still working on building up my stock, so there might be some longer lead times than I'd hoped for. But don't worry, I'm doing everything I can to get your orders out ASAP!

I want to extend a HUGE thank you to all the amazing folks who showed interest in these products early on. Thanks for your support and patience. Check out my thread HERE or message me to place your orders. Get ready for some awesome products, even if there's a bit of a wait.

    Cheers,
    Dan

    Nice.

Are those all one piece or multiple? What printer do you use?

What material are you using for these parts?

The new design is one solid piece. The CAD design shows one piece but the installed pictures are 2 pieces glued together. I have pictures of the single piece installed if you want to see.
The cover and mesh are its own piece.

I have a Prusa I3 MK2s and a new Ender-3 S1 Plus (this large one lets me print them in one piece).

    • 3D Printed some mounts for my roof rack on my topper that is angled, printed out of ASA for UV resistance and strength.
    • 3D Printed some quick release awning mounts for my roof rack so I'll be able to switch my awning from one side of my truck/trailer to the other easily.
    • 3D printed a RAM Ball/Phone mount for my center console.

That dash mount is pretty slick. I printed these a while back but never posted in here. very similar to yours with out the bridge across. I know its hard to see because they are black lol. Each side has 3 1/4-20 threaded inserts for ram mounts.

I took over making those out of aluminum (see my sig). I thought about 3d printing some but wasn't sure if I wanted to deal with the inserts. What were your printer settings on that?

Printed out of ASA on a QIDI X-Plus 3. Works really well but got a few little things to tweak to see if I can get the improvement I want.
