I tried them and took them out. The steering wheel was annoying jumping and out and I found they pressed on the back of the leg enough to makes toes tingle. The stock position never did that. 5'8 160

    Great company

But they made the seat position worse for me

    5’9”, 165

so glad I took them off and went back to stock

Team short here. I hated the stock seat for drives over 2 hours. I did some research and put the 1/2" lift on the back of the seat. Headroom wasn't a problem before and still isn't. Visibility improved and the seat is more comfortable. It still isn't an A+ but at least I don't have to stop and stretch every 2 hours. 2018, so manual seats.

I think every body is a different configuration but in general tall guys like a lift of the front, short guys benefit from the lift in the back, and pirates raise the whole thing.

Seat jackers came in last night... I'm 5'9" and 175 but longer legs.....curious to see how they change the seat position and of course the comfort on longer drives..... Not sure if I should get the back seat jackers but I think I can make my own with a drill press and some aluminum....

Done in 14 mins including putting away tools but it would've been about 6 mins.... one wanted to crossthread so instead of effing it up I removed the offending seat jacker and made sure the bolt was going in straight and chased the threads...

Couple notes it makes it a little different getting in and out of the truck and as mentioned less room between the seat and steering wheel....

I'm 6'3". The seat jackers made a HUUUUUUGE difference for me. Well worth the time and money to buy and install them. Best mod to my truck!

I'm 6'1" and pretty thick in the torso. Have power seats and installed them mostly for the storage underneath and because I have a short wife who might enjoy them.

I think they spent all of 30 minutes in the truck then I yanked them back out and returned them. Reviews I see online are usually polar opposite. People love them and can't get enough or they hate them and think they are snake oil. Doesn't seem to be a lot of folks occupying the middle ground.
    Definitely a YMMV situation.

YES YES AND YES , i too have a sr5 with power seats . Im 5'9. I was skeptical on how many complain on the comfort of the tacoma especially on road trips.

I came from a ridgeline so i had an open perspective. After a 5 hour camping trip , my hips, upper back and knees were shot. i could not find a comfortable spot.

I already knew about the seat risers. But was very skeptical. I purchased and installed, and holy shyyt**T was a huge difference. what a difference and somehow it did not effect my height toward the headliner . i purchased both rear and front riser for both seats . Best mod i have period. The ride comport of the driver is a big improvement. The way your body is ergonomically seated keeps me less fatigues and in less pain.

But everyone body ,especially pain , posture and disabilities vary

Highly recommend them. I installed the front jackers before a multi-state camping trip, and they resulted in no pain or discomfort, unlike past road trips. I'm 5'10".

I didn't think I needed them after a year of driving but most trips were around town for ~45min.
Then I went on a 10hr round trip and legs felt achy afterwards.
Decided to give then a try.
It helped a lot. Recently went on a 5200+ mile trip and had no problems.
Recently got a secondhand set to put in the passenger seat.
I wish he made some another half inch taller.

I put them in last week prior to going on a camping trip. Drove several hours and like them.

I tried both, didn't help. I switched my manual seat for a powered. Still not the best but manageable. I actually still have a set of rear jackers that I need to get rid of.

I don't know if you still need more convincing but the jackers are easily the best mod I've made to my truck so far. I couldn't drive for more than 10 minutes before squirming around in the seat trying to take pressure off my tailbone. I have power seats but no matter how much I messed around with them the seating position was never all that comfortable. Like many people say, it may come down to your personal body frame.

I have no ass to speak of, the lack of thigh support would put all the pressure on my lower back. I only put them on the driver side cause my girlfriend has that big ol' butt and isn't really bothered by the seating position. I was definitely skeptical at first, little blocks for $100 seemed like a dumb purchase but they've absolutely made my quality of life better when driving.

The only drawback is that you do lose space between your thighs and the steering wheel, Tacomas seem to have very low steering wheels even at their highest adjustment, but it's certainly worth it to me.

    A few.
Lower legs would get partially numb when driving for longer than 10 minutes or so on my 2019 non power seat. After installing seat jackers no longer a problem. Feels a little strange the first couple days but after that u get used to it quickly.

I am 5'7 5'8 and I used just the ones for the rear made a huge difference. I have had a few back surgeries and it made it so much more comfortable to drive.

    Just getting started.
Last year a friend and I drove from Texas to Kentucky for a Bourbon Trail trip with seat jackers installed in both front seats. Both of us were very comfortable, but before I had them installed a 4 hour trip to San Antonio required a stop about 1.5-2 hours in because of the discomfort in my knees.

    I 100% recommend.

I am 6 ft and "short waisted" and like to sit up in any vehicle, with power seats I have them as high as they will go. My 22 Tacoma has manual seats and they are low, however I am concerned about using the Jackers, my thighs already hit the steering wheel when I get in and out. Anybody solved that problem?
