Nah. Electronic fuel injection. Maybe if it was a set of Webers...

Ahh..you are right. My first glance saw Webber stacks. Love how they mimic the old look on fuel injection these days.

Yes, this survivor ‘67 Big Block has somewhat of a history with me. I used to see it parked as well as a nice ‘69 Vette at a house in the mountains of Colorado. It was actually at a house in a canyon that has a river running through it. My brother was out visiting in 2013. We drove past and I pointed the cars out to him, the very next day a huge flood wiped out the majority of the houses through there. I feared these Vettes were long gone I knew the house was.

Fast forward to 2020’ish. I see the ‘67 at a grocery store and talked to the owner. I told him, that Vette sure looks familiar. Is that the one? Yes It’s the same ‘67 from the canyon. He managed to save it by driving it out while his house and his ‘69 Vette were taken from the flood.

Same thing I thought. I’m doubting it was one of those rare beasts, but you never know. Hope I run into him again to pick his brain further. He knows what he has and mentioned that this car is his retirement backup in case when and if he ever runs into hardship.

This looks to be a ‘69 Mercury Montego. A buddy of mine back in the day built one up.
