The hell is this water coming down from the sky? I think I saw something like it months ago.

Thundering pretty good up in the North Valleys. Hopefully the rain keeps up with the lightning, as I've seen a few strikes looking towards Peavine and north

Random picture of today cus why not. I ate shit really bad first run of the day so that made it fun but still hit the biggest jump I’ve ever hit on my last run at end of the day. Not the one pictured there

Too many to list, and I've probably forgotten a bunch.
The little one ran downstairs when she heard me putting the garbage bins out and decided to dance in the rain until she was soaked. Laughing and smiling the whole time.

Life used to be so simple.

Any one know a good Differential shop in Carson or Reno? I picked up a TRD locker I need to have regeared. Or is ESGS my best option?

When I went through this ecgs was much more cost effective than the shop I got a quote at here locally. I prefer to support local businesses when feasible but when the difference is like 50% it makes it hard, especially when they have such a great reputation with toyotas specifically + very favorable warranty.

I agree. Would rather support local, but he's coast. It's about $900 with me sending in my core. Really good warranty and customer service. I may just do that cuz I'm not in a rush.

Have ECGS do it. While not local they are still an American owned and operated small business. You will not beat the warranty and that alone is worth it. The fact that they set up more diffs in a week then most shops do in a year means the guys building it know what they are doing.

    Here's a little story.

I bought my ARB 5.29 Nitro, ARB diffs from ECGS after talking to them. It was during the whole bad bonded seal bullshit that ARB went through 5 years ago. My rear developed a small leak that would cycle the compressor every minute. After talking with Chase he let me know it was for sure the bonded seal and asked me to send it in. This was right in the middle of wheeling season so that got pushed off a good 6 months. When I was ready to pull it I called him up and he sent me a shipping label on them. I'm in Cali and they are NC. That diff shipped on a Saturday. Arrived Monday. It was repaired and shipped back that same day. I received it on Wednesday. Pretty damn good.

Fuck this story is getting long. Oh well, there's more. I sold my wheeling rig to a member here last summer. After a few months he gets a hold of me with some photo's of super small incipient cracks starting to form on the rear ring gear. There was literally 12 days left until that 5 year warranty expired. He emailed Chase from ECGS and CC'd me in. After seeing the photo's Chase honored the warranty. He got a brand new gear set a few days before the warranty expired. Best part? He wasn't the original purchaser. Try that with anyone else and I promise you it doesn't happen. lol

Ditto. They honored the warranty on gears I bought from Max out of warranty time frame. Then have warrantied (is that even a word :notsure: ) two other diffs I've grenaded. They're the best for sure. And super fast turnaround times as also mentioned. They always get my business.

I'm sold, I heard another store just like this tonight. Going to place my order next month. Fortunately this will not affect me driving the truck and I'm in no rush.
