Flip: you can have your bet partially covered; I think w/ the Revolver it is all open or all closed. With the panels you do get to keep the bed rails (lowered by about 1.5"); I don't know about with the Revolver. I compared the two and chose the flip but I don't remember why I chose it over the Revolver.
If you call them they can talk you through all the options. And yes, actual humans answer the phone.

Finally got my behind-rear-seat molle panel fully installed. I bought the one from Underland.
I used Noico sound deadening panels and covered it with black automotive trunk liner attached with spray adhesive behind the panel.

Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
I saw that thread about leaks from the coolant bypass so I decided to take a look. Looks nice and clean.

However, my ujoints on my main drive shaft were totally caked in mud. My last trip was not really muddy at all, but drove over a lot of fresh cow pies. So, maybe mud pies on them. They did stink. I hosed off the ujoints and then greased them.

That is my 4th or 5th time greasing them this year? First at start of year was normal maintenance, then 2 more times after a couple of deep water crossings. So maybe 4th time.

The Lucas red tacky stuff, seems to work pretty well. I just keep pumping until clean grease comes out of each joint.

Mine is 2016 TRD OR, about 72K miles with 15-20K of that on some hard off road conditions.

It is first half of 2016 production so it has 5 zerks on the driveline. The other 3 looked fine and it was not that long ago I did those ones. Original ujoints so it seems they like frequent grease, at least for the amount of off road driving I do.

    Thanks!
I’m very happy with it! Just have to make some aluminum Molle mounts to mount my quickfist clamps.

Decked drawers just don’t belong in a Taco. I had a set, I love the concept, they are well built. But they take up way too much space. Don’t you have L tracks mounted in your bed?

I removed those annoying stickers on the sun visor.
New truck means new projects! Built a dog platform over the weekend, so that I can retain the use of the storage space, and to keep her from sliding around on the hard plastic surface.

She's gone from the cramped back seat of a second gen access cab, to the even more cramped back seat of a first gen extended cab, to the spacious back seat of a 3rd gen double cab. Needless to say that she feels like quite the princess now.

I didn't take any pictures of the build process, since there's a few posts covering that already, but here's the finished results.

Used a wire brush to clean up a couple old railway spikes I had laying around, to keep the back shut.

The old girl is getting grey in the muzzle, just like me, so I found a her a dog bed that fits perfectly.

Yep - steering wheel adjustment is pitiful. Maybe 1” total in/out and 1” total up/down adjustment.

The seat jackers definitely helped with the seating angle, but I still feel like I’m sitting too high in the cab. Wish I could lower the seat a few inches.

Man, nice work on that! I wonder if a slide bolt attached above would be a better permanent solution rather than the railroad spike. Although the spike looks way cooler!

Yeah I have tracks. I agree the decked just takes too much space, but for me Im just not sure if it would fit my "lifestyle". Fishing is my thing, so fishing rod storage, tackle storage, boating gear storage, and ice fishing gear storage would be needed. While a decked would work for most of that stuff, fishing rods would not fit, but the stuff that would fit in the drawers would take up a small corner in the bed without a decked.

Hmmm, I like the slide bolt idea.

I don't know if I'll keep the railway spikes. They look sharp, but they could do a lot of damage if they come loose in an accident (though so could my tool bag...).

I was going to use a couple of carabiners, but I went with what I had on hand. A couple of wooden wedges would work, too.
