Select SR5 and then when you get to packages the off-road packages will show up.
I was just messing with it some more and you can add the TRD off-road package to the limited too.

Should be able to get a SR O
I thought I saw that all hybrid production would be at Guanajuato, not sure if that means all nonhybrid would be at Baja, or if Guanajuato and Baja will both build regular trucks. Still don't know when 3G production will stop. I don't think Toyota will be building both gens simultaneously. Still don't know where 6G 4R production falls into place here, unless it's going to be in Japan.

    - Thank you, looks like a nice little bugger. We got the 1st & 2nd generation Urban cruiser as the Scion xA & xD!

    - I did know that. The more you know.

    - Hard to say what is Japanese and what is Germen and what is American. They all have a a little of each.

    - As a non-Canadian, please englighten me, Maple-Leaf Brother.

    - Wise Words, the 2GR is a wonderful engine but the truck application could've been done better from the factory. The 6AT gearing is spaced similar to the camry/sienna/highlander 6AT. Even the Hilux turbo diesels get the same gear spread. I don't know why. I'm sure EPA & MPG are to blame:

    Sienna 3.5

    - I'm sure Toyota can get the calm shells to pass regulations, they didn't want to put money doing it. Right or wrong, the market for extended cabs are a lower take-rate than double cabs. Can't blame them for building what sells even if it cuts some customers off, there's still more waiting in line than walking out of it. Also, the XtraCab cut costs may make room for a old-skool 4Runner, who knows.

    - I like warthogs:[IMG]

    - Hope this doesn't become any bigger head ache than what it already is.

    - Thank you for pointing this out. A few posts back I noted that I was a little concerned about how much Toyota TGNA's BOF commonality is making, in my view, some harsh compromises. This is a more positive outlook and if Toyota did that, even with a fixed roof, would probably pay off in the long run.

    - The 2nd/2.5 gen(s) had a much more full size bed than the 3rd gen new composite bed, don't know why Toyota shrunk the trunk. Probably they use the same machines for both trucks now.

    - The way Toyota makes trims/options is weird, 2 completely different hierarchies. There was time when they had a similar structure. Shit ain't cheap, that's for sure.

I kinda wanna wait to drive a ZR2, Tacoma manual and hybrid version, and Ranger V6. Obviously I lean toward Tacoma but I have owned a ZR2 and like their truck and powertrain. Pricing at $52k loaded which will come down hopefully as GM starts overproduction.

I saw a new Colorado today, it wasn't a ZR2 but it was blue. Upper trim with a fresh crispy white temp tag.

I'm not so certain there's going to be any overproduction of vehicles out there, not from the big three anyway.

When will they do this? Thought I heard they throttled Silverado production due to sales slowing down. Figure they would do the same for the twins.

Just hoping. Lower prices help all manufacturers I feel. Maybe not Tacoma as much but if you can buy a loaded ZR2 for the price of a TRD OR then it becomes a difficult decision

There definitely will not be over production, how will they keep the margins up if they over produce

Lots of good choices now in the segment. I do like the look of the Canyon/Colorado a lot. My neighbor just bought a Denali and it's REALLY nice! I'm set on the Taco because of the manual transmission. We'll see how long it takes to actually get one...

Get the crew, not much more space in the DC Tundra vs DC Tacoma.

Definitely. I want all that floor space in front of the rear seats. The under seat storage looks nice too. The real world gas mileage may kill it though. I’ve been watching some videos and a lot of people are getting only mid teens for mpgs.
