Hopefully, the Tundra can be considered Beta testing with lessons learned being implemented on the 4th Gen Tacoma.

 

Yah kind of like when Toyota learned lessons on preventing frame rust with the 1st gen before they made the 2nd and 3rd gen...

 

You make a good point on rust. At least with the in-line 4 cylinder there should be no plastic coolant crossover pipe.

I just read through the last link on the bottom you sent on tundras.com. I can't believe how many engine failures there has been....definitely not a good sign. I wonder what's causing it...don't think there has been a recall on that.

More like are there any vehicle manufacturers who built cars, trucks. EV's to last long term, versus looking for big $$$ upfront on sale and then leaving town?

I jumped in one while at the dealer and the interior is small for such a big truck, my wife who is 5'3" 135 lbs got in it as said it was cramped.
