What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Paint protection film, just to keep the hood from wasting away and salvage what’s left of my roof. Clear coat is juuuuust starting to go in a couple spots on the roof but so far the hood is still good.

 

They aren’t like terrible. I could buff out as best as I could and keep them for spares. Looking straight on they look fine (mostly clear), it’s the top of the lenses that are starting to like flake and are more noticeably yellow.

 

I’d give them to you, but I don’t think my 2014 headlights would work on your 2006. If they do, you could have them… if that’s what you were implying.

 

Added an ExtremeTerrain roof molle panel and an OffRoam phone mount. Both are very solid and well made.

 

You're right. Won't fit. Where did you order your headlights from? Amazon by chance?

 

oh, I need to find some sort of mesh grill for my Tacoma, I love hidden lights behind the grill!

 

Since you are local San Diego, i've always ordered parts from Norm Reeves Toyota in the Mission Gorge area. Not cheap, but they had like 30+% off retail for the headlights right now or around $215/each. So with tax i paid like $450ish for the pair.

But i've ordered a shit ton of parts from Norm Reeves and they always have comparable pricing to what i can find online - minus shipping costs because i just go down myself and pick the parts up.

 

Picked up my headlights:

 

Gave the headlights some love. Mother’s NuLens kit

 

Did the back up camera connection under the driver's side dash/12 volt to 6 volt reducer. Now only in aftermarket head unit,since I did the Bob's temp/compass rearview mirror.
And finished up the leather door panels armrests with extra padding from www.redlinegoods.com

 

Nice green Ford Maverick you have next to the Tacoma.
