Details on the bike rack? Wondering if it's the tray where it clamps the wheels or post style where the bike hangs on top

How are the trails if you have no armor?

I've been told these trails are fine for Subaru Outbacks. Any Taco should be OK for this run. South Jersey trails are mostly sand... I would defer to those who have traveled them in the past.

You'll be fine with no armor. The real challenge is the deep sand/mud out there. Doesn't look like you're any stranger to that, Chris

definitely not worried about my truck lol

very slight chance a Rubicon on 35s but no armor may tag along

Shouldn't be anything in the way of mud holes. I'm going to run the route tomorrow and see

Adding the route to the original post. About to go check it out. According to Google it's an hour trail ride but I know it's shorter than that

    Thanks for updating.

While were out, would like for a few folks to take a look at the frame of my 3rd gen and let me know the best option for rust prevention. It's a 2018 and definitely has some concerning rust in some places. Been a northeast truck it's whole life so it's seen plenty of salt.

Well I made it in under an hour with no rush. Super easy and zero obstacles. The biggest thing might be some loose sand for guys with stock rubber, but I was in 2Hi the whole time with some balding general grabbers. Never once felt like I was going to slide or get stuck. The trail is looking really scenic and they just graded a bunch of spots so it's nice and level.
I'm psyched! This should be fun.

Thanks for vetting out the trail before we ride! Any need to air-down?

I just have no fucking luck, night before this trip and the truck is giving me issues. Truck lights were set to off but I come out tonight and the running lights were on, truck now wont start.

Only one issue with the truck since June 2017 for a defective part in the steering wheel to honk the horn.

Used a battery starter to get the truck turned over. Don't want to risk driving 100+ miles one way tomorrow as the truck sounds off, traction off light is on and wont turn off, check engine light on.

Thank you TS4x4 for setting this up, was really looking forward to this event as an appetizer before the 7th Annual AOAA Invasion in mid October. Getting a list together for my mechanic of everything the truck needs.
