The machine shop is running a little behind but has promised me the first batch of D-Rings will be on my doorstep on Monday. I will assemble and package them and get them shipped as quickly as I can.

Are they compatible with bed stiffies?

 

If the stock D-Ring fits then these will fit.

 

Nearly all of the pre-orders have been filled as of today and I have a few extra in inventory now. I will have 50 more sets middle of next week.

Got them installed today and it seems they work great . Except they won't fold flat with the bed stiffness I used. A great product. Much better then the stock ones as these swivel much easier.

 

Glad to hear that. The first prototypes were a little tough to swivel so I took .005" out of the counterbore and it seemed to be the sweet spot.

 

Thanks for the pics, I'm bummed they don't fold down though! The "snap" from the detent that holds them closed is a cool feature that you're missing out on. Would you consider trimming the stiffeners? Grinder and spray paint would make quick work of it.

 

Yes. I’m going to trim them so they will fold down. Again, guys these are great to have. Plus, they match the others I have gotten from OP. Thanks.

 

Thanks for the kind words. I'm glad you noticed the color match, we work very hard to keep the anodize colors consistent for this very reason. If you order more Tie Downs at a later date, of course you want them to match!
