After looking for a used Taco for a couple months, I gave in and bought new. Local dealer had exactly what I wanted on the lot. It was allocated for someone else that didn't buy it so it had an additional package and some other add-ons that I planned to do myself but had to pay Toyota prices for. I ended up paying the dealer fee which I've never had waived in South Florida. Bought it at MSRP plus a small BS dealer package and they "waived" the $3499 market adjustment. And I found it amusing they were "selling" me on waiving the market adjustment since they "never" waive it. It took me a while to get used to the truck coming from a 2019 Tundra but I'm pretty happy with how it's turning out so far.

Do you have to do any adjustments to the TSS with the TRD Lift?

No adjustments to the TSS and the rear springs are set at Option 1 as they ship from Icon. So far so good.

Thanks. I honestly didn't like the truck the first week I had it when it was bone stock. The suspension and tires really does a lot for this truck. Feels so much more solid on the road now. I've run BFG A/T's on all my Land Cruisers for the past 20 years and they've been great. I figure they should do even better on a lighter truck like the Tacoma.

Sometimes you sort of forget how good looking these vehicles are before we start tacking all kinds of doodads onto them. :) Not that mods make them look ugly, just way busy.

@rumbum that is the perfect stance. I'd like mine to look like that! Are those 285 width tires?

Salesman just bumped eta from mid-Sept to maybe next week. Truck was born on 8/4, and I ordered it on 8/8 (got the VIN right away). Last spotted 8/15 on a train through Mexico to the DFW area, then hopefully to me here in NOLA. Got a small pile of accessories ready to go. Chompin' at the bit here... :fingerscrossed:

Any other Lunar Rockers in the N.O. metro area? I swear I've seen a 4Runner tooling around.

I just got $160 for mine on Facebook marketplace. Think it really depends on market obviously, I live in a city currently where most Tacomas are SRs, people are more interested in my “TRD” upgrades. I probably could have waited for a better offer, but $160 was enough for me to tell myself the Pro Tails were over 50% off lol.

Thought I'd post a photo of my ouch! Cement because of the similarities. TRDOR, DB, Pro tails, military decal in back window. Mine's got the color matching bumper covers though.

Thx. Toyota OEM baby!! Found a paint shop that had the 1H5 color in rattle cans. Lots of scuffing, wet sanding, base coats and satin clear coats.

    Thanks! Loving the truck!

The visors are AVS, got ‘‘em at https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019NQKLPK?ie=UTF8

I originally bought the ones that were applied to the outside, but they didn’t really fit well and they felt unfinished. So I returned them and got the N channel ones and they’ve been perfect. I just need to take a little alcohol to wipe off the logo.

Yeah, I put it up about 2 1/2 upfront and 2 inches in the back with 6112s and SPC UCAs, and Deaver stage one with 5160s in the back. I’m planning on a shell/topper at some point and so the Devers should work out well. The truck sits with just a hair of rake and rides great, just right amount road feel to inspire some confidence, but they are smoother IMO then the similar OME set up I ran on my 2.5 GEN, and that was a DC.

What suspension did you end up getting? My bone-stock taco lands any day and I'll be in the market soon...
