Just in general, we normally want a richer than stoich start but not so rich it floods the engine, right?

Yup unless it's already pretty warm or its a really hot day, then if there isn't enough air volume it'll stumble and miss a bit since the DA goes down so much locally on heat soaked or broadly on a hot ass day.

What are your two step settings looking like. Curious, it's one of those things ive never configured, have configured anti lag either.

Started down the path for full trans control with the Elite 2000 and 2500. May produce a harness for it once the prototype is confirmed working. Only thing hanging out in space (can't find a solid answer on the system function) is whether the stock cruise control is affected.

From when I was looking at that, I don't think it is. Only relation I think is kickdown and that's based on speed, throttle, and rpm from what I could tell

Well that shouldn't be a problem then since this generation of cruise control pulls the throttle cable and TPS anyway, it'll be just like someone is using their foot as far as the Haltech is concerned.

I'm really excited to setup flat shift on an auto trans, some nice cracks between gears and we can go gear to gear in lockup, it'll be like a manual almost.

I take back what I said. Solenoid 2 is meshed into the CC actuator harness, but I can't tell if it's an in or an out. I think it's to be to disable overdrive: feeds +12V into S2 to drop 4th into 3rd (S1 is disabled in both cases). So it can basically override the Haltech if it's trying to put it in 4th.

And you're gonna stress lockup clutch like that?

Yeah going to break that connection then and let the Haltech pickup on the intention through TPS. I don't think I'll stress the lockup clutch too much, its not for full rips, just cruising and you still use ignition cut when the shift is scheduled to lower the shock to the trans. For full rips (using the engine demand channel) I won't let it go gear to gear in lockup but I will have it lock the clutch past torque peak in 4th on a full rip. Else it'll mostly just be normal behavior in 3rd in fourth, just locked in cruising/low-medium demand.

    So, scary new behavior today...
I was leaving to go to lunch and the Tru k just died mid-turn, around 2k rpm and wouldn't restart. Finally got it and kept taking it around and it died another 5 times before I could get back to the driveway. CELs are Trigger error and Coolant temp over max.. But the weirdest thing was a few times keeping the key in the ignition the fuel pump sounded weak and didn't turn off after the 3 seconds of prime I have set. The status light on the Haltech at this time was off and could not connect via USB until I bliped it to crank. Very worrisome. I'm assuming this hasn't happened to anyone? I know there's a max ECU temp but I don't have that CEL turned on but it is a hot ass day. Finally died again as I was handling the ECU in the driveway (only time it died at idle) .

Should probably look for possible melted harness points and shorts, never know if something came loose on the engine loom and swung into a hot pipe. Sounds like you're losing key-on power signal. I wouldn't write off the Haltech as having an issue until you bench test it on a 12v power supply or just a battery though.

Ya my first thought is a partially blown fuse

I also noticed some random noise from the trigger signal

On the plus side, got a shot of my 3/4 assed cobbled display working before it died haha. Originally thought it was as simple as something on this shorting out but no

Ok, I checked all my main wiring points, cab fuses, re-seated the HT connectors, and pressed on the PnP harness points. Heard some crinkling and maybe a light click when I did the last thing so I took it out for a 5 min drive and everything was ok, so maybe there was some contact issue in the PnP harness. Would make sense since it seemed to die when the truck was experiencing some Gs, but not ruling out the fuel pump relay
