I’m hoping this new bike will be a lot more comfortable than my last. It is about twice the size

 

You get one of them giant ass adventure bikes? Guy at work has one from BMW and it's like trying to get onto a horse.

Yup. 1200gs. Feels big for a normal size person. Jack n the bean stalk over here, feels normal lol.

 

Was trying to get a buddy of mine to get one of those, he just can’t get away from the scrambler/ cafe racer style bikes.

 

Like a CS1200? Those are super great for long hauls and versatile terrain

 

My 1200 tenere felt big at first coming from a 600 but it very quickly felt like the right size. It’s great for riding all day, especially having cruise, heated grips, wind protection, luggage, etc.

 

Noicee. This will be the first long trip with it but just a couple hour cruises I can feel the difference. Mine is loaded with touratech goods.

I want to take a week or two trip west with it, along with the tacoma but who knows when that will ever happen lol

I've actually been all over that area, albiet in a mini Cooper but... Phenomenal. If I could scrape together gas, money and time off work I would absolutely go back

 

I won't be going to ATR this year but trying very hard to get Diode to sponsor my trip for next year. Hoping to bring their RZR and setup a tent for them.
