Watched the first couple episodes. Dopesick did a much better job of building the story and creating the characters, imo. Which is a shame because I like the cast in Pain Killer....if it had come out first it might be easier to watch but I keep comparing it to Dopesick and it just doesn't live up. So far anyway.

Near perfect review from my POV as well.
Yeah, actually the actors in Dopesick were way better. The main investigator lady completely over acts. But that's the kind of story they are telling, fictionalized "truth". Meh not enough different deep relatable characters exactly.

Cocaine Bear is now on Prime. Considered to be #1 in the US. I assume because nobody wanted to pay actual money to see it in a theater, so it became #1 on Prime.
Prolly watch it tonight, expecting it to be bad.

I watched it on peacock when it came out a few months ago. Not great. I kind of expected a comedy the way the previews were showing it, but fell short.

seemed like a studio grasping at straws for a flick ‘based’ on a true story and way over exaggerated to the point of unbelief.

that said, I like trash TV and movies. So wasn’t bad.

This season is the last and it's a "2 part" season, aka they gave us the first half at the beginning of the year and the last half starts toward the end of the year. Kind of a common thing now esp with popular shows, gotta draw out that ad revenue for as long as possible

I really enjoyed the first couple seasons of Yellowstone when it was a scarcely known Paramount show. But then it skyrocketed in popularity seemingly overnight and transformed into this prime time soap opera like drama that it is now. Don't get me wrong, I'll see it through because I'm committed but it's just not as good as it was in the beginning, imo.

Me too, I wish they had done another season showing them getting started on their land.

1923 is also good, but I thought 1883 was better. There is a season 2 of 1923 coming though.

    1883 pretty good.

1923 entertaining enough but so corny.

We just never actually liked "Yellowstone"

It was crazy good. Really makes a person think about what the FDA calls "safe".

Recently started JUSTIFIED on the Hulu.

Eastern Promises is on Max (HBO) now, been wanting to rewatch this again for awhile but wasn't able to stream it anywhere.

Liked Yellowstone..... Although it reminded me of Dances with Wolves Meets Son's Of Anarchy.

    Really enjoyed 1883.

Haven't watched 1923 yet except for the 1st episode.

Got my fill on Fast and Furious movies on Netflix last weekend.
The first one will always best the best one.
I would like to see them do a series of Transporter movies next.
