Definitely not lol. Caging these trucks sucks. Don’t know that I’d offer that for anyone

JD, KDM Fab or KalilFab probably would, why not 454?

The kit does come with extension that work with oe tie rod ends "not the ones in the photo"
Comes with complete axle assembly. No core charge. They are looking for cores tho. Might be able to get a discount.

I asked him, he doesn't want the drama and liability of cage installs. He already takes on the suspension liability, doesn't want any more than that. Improper cage usage is deadly.

Id prefer someone here in AZ to do it, and not charge an obscene amount. I know they're expensive, though.

Sounds like I need to find someone who's experienced in cage building but not scarred from it. LOL

What’s on the to do list? I got my steering rack swap finished today so I just need to do an oil change. Revalve 6 shocks on my buddies truck this weekend. Turn a bunch of bypass tubes on @Sixthelement truck. And I feel like I’m forgetting something.

I’d spend a bit more and expand the distance to bring the truck rather than have someone who’s not a legit fabricator build it.

That’s a healthy list. Not everything 100% necessary to make the trip. But you might need to call in sick a few days to get it done.

I need AC, I need some way to read my fuel level, and I need the disc brakes. Outside of that, I guess the rest is optional.

Also T.E. Designs is doing WIY laser cut and bent cages also for 2nd gens now. Could get one and take it to Willis have him install/weld it up also if their design is what your looking for.

ERD Fab did a double cab Tacoma a bit ago, not sure his schedule to do another though. Wasn’t too responsive when I reached out.
