Got my new to me compressor home Saturday afternoon, needs an oil change and I need to wire up an outlet for it

 

Damn that thing is beefy looking.
How the heck do you plan on getting it down from there?

 

Strapped a hand truck to it, wheeled it over the edge and slid the spine of the hand truck down the plastic cover on my tailgate. Had my dad swing by to help lower it.

Had to move it down 1.5 flights of stairs on a hand truck to get it to my truck lol

Passenger headlight has a ton of water in it. Any ideas for accelerating drying it out? Thinking it might be cracked? Fortunately takeoffs are like 250$ for a set (this is why I don't want the LEDs). Hoping i didn't jack it up though

 

Someone was saying their headlights had stupid amounts of water and they just silicone'd around the headlight and it's been fine since?

 

When I did my retrofits I didn’t quite get the seal. I drilled a real small hole in the bottom of them then took the headlight bulb out and took a hairdryer and set it up to dry it out. Then I just siliconed the seam and there all good now

 

Ooooo good to know. This weekend will finally be dry and sunny for the first time in like 3 weeks so we'll see if it dries out a bit. If not I'll be doing this and see what happens.

From my experience if you dont take out one of the bulbs the moisture cant escape. Maybe pop a bulb out on a nice day and let it sit in the sun.
