You would have to be moving at over three digits to lift a wheel in a taco. Assuming nothing else came into play like ice or a bank to turn etc. I think

My little escape artist. Every year she gets her self off the buoy at lest once despite updated and improved mounting techniques

Is this what you mean by “nothing else came into play”? (That tire is one inch off the ground)

Any wiring gurus out there? @OldSchlPunk suggested putting 'lil chase lights in my X-member holes. Kimm'r kinda likes the idea!! I am considering getting these. I'd like to connect the reds to the brakes only, and hook the ambers to their own switch to be chase lights. And get the whites for back-up lights. I have never had much luck with auto wiring. I always needed a lot of help.

Such a good route on 135! My wife and I both say that we’d move back to south of Indy again in a heartbeat. Definitely not a flyover state once you go south of Indy

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
I think someone else suggested the lights, I suggested cutting the hitch receiver into the crossmember. Those lights would be a great addition! If you use them, use a LOT of dielectric grease on the connectors as they corrode very easily! Those are semi trailer lights and should be plenty bright.

Looks like @daveeasa has pnp for taco and tundra tail lights. Not sure if the 4Runner is the same as one of those or if they are different (tundra ditch light brackets are the same as the 4Runner.. it’s weird the parts some share).

that would be easiest for brake and reverse so you don’t need to touch any factory wiring if he can hook you up with something.

    https://fbchs.square.site/shop/taillight/6

you can also tap off the trailer plug / get an extension to tap

I think we looked into those 4 runner taillights but they are inside the hatch so you’d have to route them outside somehow which is a mild pain.

tow connector is the easier one. But that’s combined brake and turn.

I don’t have anything solved today unless @Puppypunter reminds me that I already bought the connectors sometime and forgot.

Yeah, Dave is correct. The 4Runner brake lights aren't easy to get to from what I am told. I think that the Diode Dynamics trailer tap gets around the combined turn/brake issue though? I have one, I just haven't played with it at all. If it does work like that though, that would be the easiest route for sure.
    Stage Series C1R 7-pin Dual-Output Trailer Wiring Harness (diodedynamics.com)
For some reason the dual output is $20 less than the single output. But being designed for the C1R, you will have brake there as well as parking lights and reverse if you want it. The Brake light is yellow, parking is blue, and reverse is red.
