Also update on all the Idle bullshit.
I changed air filter just to try and cleaned the MAF again yesterday before driving to Denver. Helped substantially, I did notice a gentle layer of dirt/dust on the probe. However still high at 1100.
@Rucas @Winkle99 thank you guys for this tip.
I will update if it keeps at this lower speed over the weekend.

Somewhere up the Poudre, stopped to make sure all was good and adjust the rear shock. Was a little soft for my liking. Middle setting feels just about right, a load on it and it may be perfect.

about a half mile up Crown Point, lunch and pee in the stream.

one of the side trails, found a well used but very clean campsite.
This ain't no single track bike, but it did pretty good on the soft sand and not bad over the baseball size rocks and washouts. Tires are definitely biased toward the pavement but did ok.
The gearing, which is ridiculously low for around town, (cruises 45 in 6th gear @4500rpm), was right at home off the pavement. Never once felt underpowered up the hills.





It's not as fast as the Dyna on the giddyup, , but I can ride it faster, if that makes any sense.
Long hauls down the highway are prolly best on the Dyna though.

 

What size is that bike?
Wife has the 650 and that thing can get a person in trouble fast.
