Does anyone know if a pair of passenger/driver front seats from a 1st gen tacoma are still sought after? My seats are in really good condition but I'm reaaaallly interested in getting some Corbeau Sport seats but I dont wanna be stuck with extra seats when I pull em out. Just curious what ya'lls experience is.

I bought the sport seats a few years ago, was able to get rid of my stock seats within a week or two. Think I got maybe $150 for them off of Craigslist. Unless you live in a really rural area you shouldn't have much trouble getting rid of them, especially if they're in good condition.

The area is the key. In what region of the country do you live.

If they are really in good shape, not too sun baked, you probably have a pretty good shot at getting them to a good home around there.

Tons of people I knew hated 1st Gen Tacoma seats with myself included. It's why there are a lot of threads asking about swapping them out. 3G 4R require the least amount of mod work (one bracket).

    Super uncomfortable.

Only actual desirable set are those found in a Limited or S-Runner with lumbar adjust.

I'm out in Mesa. Depending on the color I might give you a few bucks for em. My side plastics are destroyed and a cable is snapped

Post it in the for sale threads for first Gen Tacoma parts. Not here. You probably won't get much response here.

Here are my seats. Theres a tear in the usual spot but other than that everything else is pretty clean. The driver seat kind of looks stained from the lighting but its not actually stained. Thoughts on value? Do I bother selling them?

Anyone who is looking for OEM seats would definitely take those, they are in good condition.

Fun fact: I know your planning on replacing them but you can swap the bottom cushion from L>R and R>L. That will put that ripped section on the inside of the passenger seat next to the seat belt and then the driver cushion will no longer be ripped. Depending on how often you carried a passenger, that cushion will likely be softer/squishier than the driver side.

dude.... lol thats genius. im still on the fence if I want to sell them. I detailed the truck this morning, got the seats all cleaned up and pictures taken. Now that it looks nice and clean I'm second-guessing heh. I may still list them to see how much I could really get for them. I wish I could see what a set of Corbeau Sports in SPICE Vinyl looked in a 1st gen tacoma.

I'm at about 200k miles. I swapped my cushion a few thousand miles ago and because I never have a passenger, the "new" cushion was a nice upgrade! one thing to note though - if your seats are like mine, the outer side panel was cloth and the inner side panel was vinyl so when you swap them, the vinyl panels are now on the outsides. Didn't really affect anything but thought I'd mention it.

I just sold some pretty good condition 60/40 bench seats for $450. I guess it depends on what people need and what they will pay.
