Any toyota mechanics here?

i know you dont want to take it to the dealer,i wouldnt either...but with 800 miles i guess i would..your gonna have to take it to them sooner or later anyway

There are no toyota mechanics on here, they all drive Chevy and Ford, you can find them posting on those forums.

 

Maybe there’s a YT on how to replace or reseat?

Im just messin with you...but if they need replacement ,then your going to have overspray from the paint.
They want fit right,have fit and finish issues,windnoises Etc...

Any update? Same issue here. I suspect it was stretched when I had my front windows tinted

 

I don’t trust dealers much either but they’ll smoke your clutch doing a window repair?

 

Read the manual, use the warranty!

He means the valet that drives it from the service writer area to the bays.

 

So I've determined I must be missing all the inserts that hold the molding in place. After debate, I decided I'll let the dealer rip apart the doors to fix one problem to cause two others I'm sure. Here's what's missing. No one else here had this issue?

 

Just an update, dealer fixed all four windows channels. All new parts. Tech said he could not see why the originals were bad, but new ones fit tight.
Added bonus, they listened and did not wash my truck.
