Anymore, I don't think weight is that big a determinant factor.
I lost about 1mpg after loosing 12 pounds at each corner. Went from a BFG KO2 load E to MT BAJA A/T SL; both in 265/75/16

I guess I was thinking more in terms of acceleration. The SL 265/70/17 Wildpeaks were like 47lbs and I could definitely feel them. I have Goodyear ultra terrains now in SL that weigh 41lbs and my truck feels like a rocket ship. I think MPG gain was very minimal with the Goodyears vs Wildpeaks…maybe 1 or 2 at most

I have about 10k on mine, air up and down, the road noise (obviously it’s different for everyone), is minimal, and they’re wearing very nice. Highly recommend them.

Just ordered a set of 5 in 285/75/16. Also putting them on some nice new Mickey Thompson wheels. Wheels are back ordered a bit so the wait will suck, but I'm excited that I finally arrived at a decision and am going to have a proper 5 wheel rotation.

Are they Toyota specific? I ran a set of mickeys with the right hole pattern but not the right hub size and they were a pain since Toyota wheels are hub centric. I had to run hub rings to make up the difference and they were super hard to balance all the time. Shook no matter what. Switched to Toyota specific wheels and no more problems.

Never heard of wheels being referred to as Toyota specific. The hub bore is 106.1 which matches up with any Tacoma I believe.
