Thanks man. Was just talking to a friend about the Alltracks/GTI/R MK7s and the leak issues. I thought most R in the US were non sunroof for some reason. Which is a good thing. Still a sucker for a Golf. My friend had driven my wagon before I sold it and wants to jump in, I just said try to find S trim if you go GTI or AT, I didn’t know if the R’s had any issues in that department

What's the likelihood of that hurricane coming close to you guys

 

we're right in the path of the storm but everything I'm reading says we'll probably just get a few inches of rain and some wind, but the desert area and further south like San Diego is going to get hard

 

@eon_blue how are people around there feeling about the hurricane?

it's weird to hear talk of a hurricane on this coast, first time I think I've been around for one. But we're too far inland to really be affected by it other than a lot of rain

yeah that's pretty much headed right over us lol. But they're saying maybe 3 or 4 in of rain so it doesn't sound like it will be very powerful once it gets to us.

 

3 or 4 inches sounds like quite a bit haha

it is in one day for sure, but they are saying the desert areas could see up to 10+ inches from this weekend alone which is nuts

 

Wind is usually the worst part, especially if you’re on the dirty side of the storm.

 

It won't be hurricane strength in CA. Lotta rain though. Mex is gonna be interesting.

 

Just getting back into the states and check the weather at home. Nooooo.
