That’s a nice bit of chaos. Do I see a cattle prod?

Oh I like em, just not familiar with the nuances. They're a bit pricey too. Hold their value well. The Alltrack, if nothing else, certainly showed me why all the fuss on the Golfs. It's a helluva nice place to be and well thought out interior.

Where are you usually looking for nasa data? The MyRadar weather app has a layer for hotspots, but there isn’t a lot of data to go with

They show up on ads-b or flight radar. You just gotta look for them. Pretty easy to find when you know where the storms are.

That spokane fire is crazy how it exploded. satelight loop going back 48 frames shows nothing, and then boom.

I'm south of Greensboro a little bit - most of the major damage stays just east of me - so I tend to not worry till things get a little closer
I have a generator/well/propane tank + at least a month of food so I should be okay..

I have family in Tampa though - brother lives in the last evac zone..

Wasn't there something on the interior you were going to get taken care of under warranty?
Woman who works beside me has a mocha R and it looks fucking great.

Oh yeah you're set. A generator is a huge plus too.
    Florida not so much haha

Yea, I'm as good as one can be where I am.
Most of the really violent summer stuff stays SE of me and most of the nasty winter stuff stays just NW of me - win/win.

A few years back, the power started going out more regularly so the generator/inlet had to get done.
Definitely already paid off and makes things way easier + keeps my freezer full of food

Yea Florida is fuct - - I can't do anything about that situation but react..
They've lived down there for 30+ years so there isn't much they don't know. That one is what it is-

Looks like the fire rgb setting shows it before it was visible elsewhere

Yeah you're in a nice spot for sure. I hear ya on the generator, I couldn't live on the coast without one.
We've had family in Florida as well (they're all passed now as of 2020) but it was alway a bit of a thing when systems started churning toward the coast, all you can do is watch and then hope you can either go help or that they'll evacuate and/or get help. The stubbornness though I'll never get.

Oh, ya. I even scheduled it to get done and forgot about it lol. But then the heat fixed it this summer anyway

I do think there's a good chance these cars will be highly sought after in a couple decades

Have any of your guys used any of these Smartseal Hose clamps? I need to use hose clamps on the freaking rubber hoses for the LC fuel tank.

Had to evacuate my house :/

Some dickhole hit a gas main and the fire dept told us to leave until the utility co gets it isolated.

The generator makes it doable 100%
I've got a gas fireplace for heat during the winter.

You almost can't evacuate anymore - between roadways being clogged/so many people trying to leave and the general shape of FL = makes it hard to get out safely any more.

Yeah I have gas as well and it's certainly an asset at times. I wonder what a full evacuation would be like here too to be honest. I've seen the footage when they reverse the roads in FL and I just can't imagine any of that would go smoothly up here haha. I don't want to find out either!
