So at work im the Tech lll lead operator on my crew. the operator on the machine after mine is Derrick. one of my favorite co -workers. well i push him with Rick Flair Whooo’s. he always says one day when i retire he will be the man. The Black Ric Flair.(yes he is african american) im like you gonna have to dye your frow bro. so yesterday i had a run through make ready but he had some adjustments to make. im like Derrick,come hear you gotta hear this crap. he crossed the conveyor expecting some ripe gossip. i leaned in and said. TO BE THE MAN YOU GOT TO BEAT THE MAN . WHOOOO So he sent me this today

It's acting like it...we'll see.

 

I just tried to let the dogs out one last time. As soon as I opened the sliding glass door they both ran out and a huge gust of wind blew through...the look on their faces was priceless and they ran back in the house. Julie is in for the duration once the lighting starts. She'll be under my desk.

 

It always amazes me what dogs can sense and smell, and how there upbringing effects their behavior.

 

Julie doesn't do thunder. She slept on my bed last night and there was a bunch of lightning and she never moved. First grumble of thunder or fireworks and she's under the desk. I have to turn the fan on her. Zeus, he doesn't like too much of it but he doesn't hide. What gets him is a low battery in a smoke detector or the beep of a microwave. He wants nothing to do with that. He almost pulled all the clothes off the lower hangers in my walk in closet trying to hide from the last time I had to change batteries.

They're both rescues so there's no telling what they went through before we got them. We've had them going on 10 years.

 

No one has used this yet...





Yesterday was 1 year ago that Clarence left us, I still miss that orange furball every day.

Off work today and tomorrow because I have a certification school to attend all next week.

Differential and manual transmission fluids are getting changed today. I’m one of the goofy people who actually like the smell of gear oils.
