Stock is fine, just have to know the limits of what truck can/should do. And yes sand/salt is everywhere and corrosive as F. I hit spray wash or the Chevron on Grand Ave as leaving. The chevron has a new touchless wash that sprays under carriage too. Still get rust places and sand still in nooks n crannies.

 

Probably not for me, just looks like a whole lot of fun. Not a fan of sand and equipment/components coming together and expecting them to play nice with eachother not for long anyways!

 

Meh, a good rinse off and ur fine. Keep windows up when driving or at least when turning at speed, kick shoes off and a lil vacuum after all good. If you go often then expect the rust to start catching up fast.

 

I mean it’s not like Toyota has ever had rust problems… especially on 1st gen Tacoma frames
