Yeah I’m sorta on the fence for if I’m gonna make it or not. Long drive and all.

I wanna push my truck, but I sure ain’t planning on breaking it yet.

    Two things:
    1) I don’t have a bash plate between my bumper and oil pan skid.
    2) I haven’t gotten an ABS kill switch sorted yet. Traction control on this thing is a pain.

Don’t think these items will stop me from having a good time tho.

To number two, just yoink the abs no. 2 fuse out from under the hood and it’ll kill it for you, as a temporary solution. Plus it’ll kill abs too, which is nice.

I gotta look at my fuse box again, I think I pulled fuse #1 and even the relay and it was still giving my problems last outing.

I was just typing up an edit, but I might be speaking out my ass/misremembering. We pulled the fuse on a buddies truck to disable abs on an icy hill and it’ll disable abs but I don’t actually remember if it kills traction control too. Worth trying though.

No shouldn’t hinder your experience. Skid plate shouldn’t be an issue. And yes the traction control on these suck. I forget how I disabled mine but basically tricks the ecu into thinking the factory locker is on. I know it was more difficult on the sport models without the locker.

Yeah no factory locker here. Got ARBs in the front and back pumpkins, but whatever ABS traction system is in this truck is more annoying than my old ‘06. Makes all sorts of beeps and lights.

What about this? Wonder if I’ll bottom out of it. Wanted to get it cut, but my guy that works with aluminum won’t answer my calls lol.

At the angle of the ratio... I would say you are good. That said, here's a quarter, take that thing down town and have a rat chew it off.

Originally wanted to weld some fill plates in and match it up to the fiberglass. Thing runs like a champ right now just doesn't look pretty since the paint is oxidizing and it lives underneath a tree

Pretty Boys are over rated. Ya could probably cut that to match your fender lines fairly easy.

If your tires don’t hit the inner fenders first, they will hit that bumper. I’ve had to trim mine every tire size jump. But I have no inner fenders allowing for all the up travel goodness
