Hope you got enough toilet paper, everyone knows you have to shit 4x as much during a hurricane.

 

That sucks. Furnace filters do a decent job with that but have to change them out often.

 

Flash flooding potential inland looks like the worst threat. Swell is small, 4-6ft forecast from what I've seen, so coastlines should be good.
I certainly wouldn't want to live at the bottom of anything that could slide though.

Winds will be irritating. We've had tropical storms that have done more damage than larger storms when they move slowly and dump a lot of rain. If we've had rain leading up to it, then that's when trees start going because the ground is saturated. Then you get power outages and other surprises a bit more easily.

Nope, but I do have a really large filter in my furnace and I just keep on the fan 100% during the summer anyway.

Jesus. Maybe I'm wrong but the media and social media are really hyping it up. My understanding was it'll be pretty tame when it makes landfall in California. Of course there will be a storm surge, some wind and obviously rain. The video I saw of it making landfall in Mexico were dudes surfing the awesome waves.

 

Isn't that the area of the state that is a flood risk any time it rains.

That I don't know but it just so happens it's where the center of the storm and heaviest rains are going, so if it is, it'll be extra annoying.

A gooseneck die would alleviate this but I don't make many small brackets to justify the expense at the moment





Just need to put the relief cuts out another 1/16" for that 2 1/2" inside opening
