I got us space to showcase all the builds we have and it’s a good opportunity to put the club in the spotlight and raise money for larger trail cleanups in the future.

 

Awesome, so you're gonna showcase with a pile of broken tacoma parts!

Noble cause (as usual)...there is the dirt trails for the first time this year. I read of SxS passengers and some manufacturer runs on the trail...gonna run any of those as a club? Pls say no, cuz the liability insurance risk alone.

So, 6 trucks, how many peeps in that group? I'm not vying for a slot at all, but like I said our nephew has a Greek restaurant in Bowmanville (it's awesome food) and he has catered to the track events in the past. I'm kinda thinking of a food discount for TEC folks, with fancy shmancy coupon code on ordering. I dunno, just spitballing

 

I got 8 vehicles for display booked and 6 camping. We are just static portion of the show, not getting involved further without mulla or insurance backing us up. Food discounts are good, I am all ears.

Also if anyone would like to contribute ideas or help with prepping for the event feel free to DM or message here. Current plan is to showcase all kinds of setups our vehicles have, have recovery gear stand, spare parts counter (talk about field repairs) and adventure log book section - talk about club trips and cleanups. Club stickers and vinyl cutouts will be for sale and if things work out some merch too.

 

You should totally do a field repair tutorial for wheel cylinder, brake drum replacement and brake bleed for no specific reason to one random grey access cab chosen totally at random from the group of grey access cabs who happen to be at the event

Unfortunately we scraped it since most of our meet ups are in parking lots and with the new laws we didn’t want anyone getting ticketed for stunt driving

as always though, scrap money goes to the club.

only other thought is if we can we weld up 4" wheel spacers and do the stupid jeep prop up thing then?

Actually new idea, let scrap @Norilsk cap and make a ramp out of that! your cage should be done before the event right?

Haha, old split rim from a semi I believe. Staying at horseshoe lake camp and cottages just south of parry sound. My parents were seasonal campers from 15 years. Basically my extended family.

 

So you been pissing on that same tree for how many yrs?
