Has anyone covered this airbag warning on the vanity mirror cover?
If so, what did you cover it with?
It appears to be painted on the plastic

There are black stickers for sale on Etsy but I feel like vinyl from a craft store would be pretty cheap and easy too.
I’ve seen people comment about about removing them which looked better. I think they used acetone, but don’t quote me on that.
Edit: after some digging I can’t find the posts, but I know I’ve seen them. I’ll comment in the future if I ever find removal tips for the stickers on plastic

Why cover the warning? I wonder if you sell the truck will you be held liable if the new owner had an accident and someone noticed the warning was blacked out. It’s your truck so whatever you want. I guess the next thing you’ll be ripping the tags off of mattresses. That is also said to be illegal. I just couldn’t resist

don't use acetone, it screws up the plastic. Ask me how I know.
The ones on the material lift off with a hairdryer or hear gun, and you can’t even notice where they were

Be careful with the hair dryer or heat gun too. Those will melt the fabric the stickers are on. Ask me how I know, ha.

You’d be surprised how little heat it takes to get those papers on the cloth to lift. I first tried rubbing alcohol, but it wasn’t very effective.

I should have started with a hair dryer. Went right to the heat gun and was severely impatient that day. Hence the visor covers now.
