Think I may have slightly bent hub on my rear axle.

So recently I started to hear a squeek and a bit of a roaring sound on my diff. After looking around it I think I may have narrowed it down to a slightly bent or warped axle on my drivers side rear axle which may or may not have caused a bearing to wear out on my diff. I think I read somewhere that there was a TSB for a roaring sound from the diff so I'm hoping it is that and not a worn bearing on the diff pinion since I don't feel any play. As for the axle when I jack up the truck by the diff and let the wheels spin with the truck on drive I can see the driver side wheel wobble a bit. Switched the tire and drum and the wobble was still there on the driver side. So I took off the drum let the truck run and noticed the wobble is coming from the hub.

I know I can source an axle from a Gen 2 tacoma but wanted to know if the 3rd Gen tacoma uses the same axle as well.

Any abs lights on? Might be a bad wheel bearing

Nope. I feel no play on the wheel bearing and when I spin the axle by it self it doesn't make any grinding noise. Also barely replaced it last year. I do think it probably happened from a recent accident where I was tboned. It looked like there should have been damage but there were no signs of damage that were noticable to the wheel at the time.

It was the wheel bearing. The back plate with the magnetic strip popped out a bit and was scraping the ABS Sensor which later on it caused the ABS & Brake light to go on.
