Well, just spend almost half of the Navi money :anonymous: Scorpion EXO-XT9000 in white and a cardo. They didn't have the matte black in stock, so I went white, but I think it'll be good and match most of my bikes and gear plus a little visibility bump.

The cardo is my next purchase and I hate how expensive it is, but when I made a wrong turn yesterday it sure would have helped.

I have a Sena SMH10R on two helmets right now and love how low profile it is, but it first came out in 2013 I think and the audio quality is just terrible compared to newer options. Wasn't thrilled with the pricetag of the Neo but it's $50 cheaper than the edge for basically the same thing minus the mount and I'm hopefully making a huge jump in audio quality.

A phone mount is a lot cheaper for GPS.

I was riding with my buddy as a chaperone. I’m in newbie mode so I probably won’t ride with my phone out until next year. My raisers have ram mounts ready which is nice.

It’s nice to have music on long rides, the main reason I have a Cardo in my helmet. Twelve hours on a bike with just the voices in my head would get weird fast.

Coms are a huge plus for SO many reasons. When solo I can have tunes and if the phone rings or I feel the need to make a call I can do it. When riding with a passenger or another rider with a matching com you can communicate directions needs, etc.

I didn't install the microphone when I put the Cardo in my new helmet and keep forgetting to go back and do it. The only time I remember is when I get a phone call and realize I can't answer even if I wanted to.

    Got taken to this post

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL BIKE! The CB400Four has IMO one of the classiest looks with that swept to one side exhaust.

As far as the quoted post. MEH If im on a moto I dont like being distracted by music or calls (i have a hard time with background noise in general so music on a moto isnt ideal)... The thoughts in my head are uh.... interesting at times. But overall I dont mind the peace that cruising on the moto brings.

That one is a retarded piece of garage art. Gixxer forks plus $30 eBay rear shocks lol. No travel at the rear and shitty pod filters. The dude who “built” it probably has a man bun and no moto endorsement

Big problem as I see it is people making cafe racers out of good examples rather than restore them. My CB400F is a prime example. I seriously wanted to cafe it when I bought it but once I got it home and really started going through it I realized how close to original it still was. Would have been criminal to not keep it stock. Still fun to ride and worth more as is.

Ya I’ve seen a lot of people do it expensive/ cheap for garage art but not for actual use… to me what’s the point? That ruins the fun of a bike
Eh you and my buddy Keegan would get along lol he hates cafe racers since he would rather seen them bone stock. Buuut to me those bikes do not look good stock haha but that’s me

    I feel attacked :anonymous:

My $60, not $30, ebay shocks are surprisingly decent. I went longer though for more travel, not shorter for less. I'm too broke to justify putting out the grand for a gixxer fork conversion. I am trying to get rid of my pods though (also will add they're properly jetted and run really well) and going to a cognito moto airbox, 4-2-1 exhaust, and a serious rejet are in my future someday. Although I would also call mine more brat than cafe racer anymore. Wider taller bars, no seat cowl.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Nope. Not me, I will ride them all but cruisers. Hate the riding position. I have built many a sweet street fighter out of a wrecked S model whatever. Too expensive to go back to stock just to get your kicks out of a 1800-2000 wreck. To each is their own, which is why I love them.
I have seen some amazing things butchered, and I have seen some ingenious crazy junk that was a blast to ride!
But I also like a dirtbike riding position, so it only makes sense why I like putting standard bars on things.

I love yours! Tbh it doesn’t always need the tail but sometimes nothing on the back is the best! Tbh that’s more along the lines of what I’d love to do if I can find one haha
Ya I feel you on that cruisers are awkward to me but so is the super aggressive sitting position so somewhere in between or like a dirt bike is what I prefer

Put on the crash bar that Kemimoto sent me today. I'm actually really impressed with it aside from the instructions that were just an exploded parts diagram. Pretty discreet and not all that flashy but feels beefy enough to stand up to being the sacrificial piece in a slide. Uses the top engine mount, a few case bolts, and then a bar connection the two delrin sliders. Not a bad design at all.
