Its not your fault she is into older men. So obviously she has to deal with working while you get to relax. I mean I am not your shrink but I can take over and validate all your feelings and decisions. *invoice is in the mail.

Took the boy out scouting with me this afternoon, was not expecting a two digit forest road to be full of rock garden ledges but he hung in there like a trooper. Probably should have put him back in his car seat, but safety third!

Passed out soon as we hit pavement on 87

Have a friend going through some bad health shit. He wanted to go see Sheep Bridge but wasn't comfortable that his rig would make it. So I'm always down to take him on adventures. The road out hasn't got any better in the 5 years since my last trip. Still easily passable in the taco though can't say the same for this guy though

Damn, looks like bird shot. Probably owed more than it was worth and had GAP insurance.

Monsoon humidity eh? We'll be heading out that way in the moving truck in just over 3 weeks! So hopefully it'll dry out a little.

It was just gross in WI today, dew points in the mid 70's.

Ugh, well, not to disappoint but the dew point in NW Peoria this morning was 71. Sweatiest hike so far this year. Sunrise was awesome with all the cloud cover though.

I tried to do a body lift on the 4runner this weekend so I could get started on installing the new gas tank and getting the rear bumper on and start welding. All the body mount bolts came out easily except one was straight rusted/welded/who the fuck knows into the sleeve. After hours of soaking and a hammer and a torch it did not move anywhere. So had to cut it out. But didnt order new bushings (which I know I should have thought about) so the runner is just sitting waiting for the new bushings to come in. Did take the opportunity to install some little Baja button lights on the rear hatch tho.

Last few trips coming down from Payson I've been wondering how bad FR27 (north side of Ord) has become post the big fire in 2020 or 21

This is the most recent video I found and was taken before this year's heavy winter season so I'd imagine some of the washout are way worse. Glad we ran it back in 2019 cause it doesn't look like it will return. Prob just morph into a hiking trail tbh.
