Do like me some smoked spicy sausage. I don't use Tik Tok but have been poking around online a bit on some settings and such. I will probably try to find a podcast this week to listen to at work

@Brownmatthall she hasn't been tested with cats yet but the foster mom said she would try and see if she could be. She seemed to love kids, definitely loves other dogs. And if you get near her face she's going to lick you

 

I am willing to sponsor some meat to be smoked for the end of a mod day..

You really can't mess up a pork shoulder...There's so much renderable tissue it would be near impossible to dry it out...
Smoke it to 165F, wrap, Take out at 205F and let it cool to under 130F and pull the meat...

Also, when doing long cooks,(brisket), Armadillo Eggs... usually ready by lunch...(I time my cooks for dinner typically)....

 

Missed my house, wrong year Tacoma and no Rav4 affected. Not shocked as I got my airbags replaced about 7 years ago under recall.

I don't wrap it at all. It's naked from raw to 205 for me. No right or wrong way, just another way to look at it. I don't wrap anything in the cook. Ribs, butts, brisket (I've only done 2 briskets, to be fair). I wrap it for the rest in a cooler, but that's it.

 

I only wrap as a crutch to get through the stall...I've done no-wrap pork and it can add hours...One no wrap LARGE shoulder I did was 22hrs...
I didn't want to frighten a new cook

 

Will do fab work for smoked meats.

 

I suppose it’s better that I said it wasn’t for me than not having numbers work out. Maybe I was being too critical of the cosmetics, but I know myself.

Unrelated, how impassable are impassable roads on that Vermont map..

 

Probably sections that have washed out completely with water crossings too deep to cross. Sprinkle in some landslides and down trees

 

Check out some of the pics from the storm a few weeks back. Some won't be passable for the foreseeable future. Some are as John pointed out
