Free noico sound deadening mats and roller

I got 2 leftover sound deadening mats and a roller if anyone wants it for free. Just can’t bring myself to toss it without checking on TW first.

I’m local in VT but willing to ship just Venmo me the cost.

How successful were you in lowering the sound in the cab? Would like to do it myself. What areas did you do?

 

It was in my old 2nd gen. I put it in on the back wall and floors if I remember correctly. It did quiet it down but I can’t really remember if it was that noticeable. Probably because I didn’t do the doors though.

 

In my experience it more takes the edge off rather than really lowering the volume. Definitely improves your ability to hear your stereo though.

I did both the sound deadening and foam insulation on floors, roof and back wall of my truck. I plan to do the doors but haven't gotten around to it yet. Even without the doors done it made a pretty decent difference in road noise and in conjunction with my ceramic tint the truck is also a lot more heat insulated now. It's kinda crazy how little AC I have to use now even in hot weather. The deadening/insulation is a lot of work but so far I think it was worth it for the added comfort.
