I know it's been like 8 months, but I'm still piecing back together the front end after my 12-15 update, and pretty much the only piece I have left is the hood scoop. I bought the OEM scoop that came with some little rubber gaskets, but I have no clue where they go. I think it is for small pieces of rubber and one little strip of foam. Does anyone have an idea how these attach?

Aaand.... Stupid bonus question regarding the hood. I have a few extra tiny rubber bumpers that I can't figure out where they go. Two of them are a little oval shape with a threaded insert, and the other one is a little cone shape. I realize a picture would be 10 times more helpful but I'm not near the parts at the moment to get one. Anyone have a clue where these little things go? I know about the two round hood adjusters on the two front corners of the hood, but those are not what I'm talking about.

The rubber gaskets run around the edge of the hood scoop, it prevent the 2 pieces from rubbing paint off and creating a rust issue. And the hood bump stops you're referring to are most likely the ones pictured below.

Dude.... You're like the hood whisperer. I actually found out where the gaskets go right after I posted, but had no idea about the little bumpers, so I appreciate it.

This is the other one I'm talking about, maybe it only goes on the 05-11 hood?

Honestly I've never seen a tacoma with those threaded bump stops under the hood, where did you get them?

No idea to be honest, I had a little baggy with all the parts I removed from the old hood and those were in there. It's very possible they came from somewhere else
