I camp with mine with a topper is the reasoning. Fits a 6’ cot perfect. While I could make a DCSB work with a RRT, not a fan of them. Pain in the ass to remove and install. Most people here just leave them on full time, I don’t want to do that.

Little peeved they ditched the access doors since I use the heck out of mine, currently doing a bunch of shipments for my side business, perfect for tossing boxes back there. Easier to put in the cab, than fussing with my keys to get into the bed. Plus I keep totes back there I am in and out of all the time. As you know I still have an extra cab 1st Gen it is harder to get stuff in and out of it, even my wife comments on how much better she likes the 3G AC, so I would have to move up to the DCLB. At that point might as well buy a Tundra DC6.5’ bed. Which is the plan in 3 years anyways, or other full-size.

I have a feeling it's easily removable. Kind of a superficial issue out of all the new improvements

Agreed, guessing that a large percentage of buyers will remove it too.

Can’t be removed, as it will void the warranty…. :p

We’ll need to get a head start on gathering some creative ideas for practical alternative uses of all the soon-to-be detached & discarded air dams.

Maybe drill a grapefruit sized opening, get some bean bags, and use it for corn hole.

According to the Tesla website, the answer to the question of how long do Tesla batteries last over their lifetime is between 300,000 to 500,000 miles, which equates to 22 to 37 years, but most estimates agree that the time frame is closer to around 8-12 years.

8 to 12 years is a long time to advance battery technology....are they replaceable?

I think Toyota should probably put these 4th gen trucks on the lot with the spoiler off, wrapped up in a bag with instructions on how to attach it if the customer wants. If I was a brand new customer for a Tacoma and had no knowledge of the brand, I would probably drive right past the truck and not give it a chance because of that spoiler thing.

For 22k...sure...If they make it to 10 or under xyz mileage your good due to the federal mandated warranty.. if they go in 10 years and a day...your on your own. I know what I will do before year 10 if I ever own one...

It is, but I'd like Toyota to just show one photo of it gone lol.

Funny enough I just was at my dealer and the SR5 Taco shown on the last page looks alarmingly like the SR5 Tundra. Especially when you have one in front of you and one in your memory. From a distance these things are gonna be hard to tell apart.
