Hey TW, I was tinkering around reading and opening up my fuse boxes during a small headlight repair and I noticed that my DRL is missing the relay....but never have I ever f*cked with that before. So...wth? I have my raptor lights hooked in with my headlights, so I've never noticed before but im guessing my DRL were never functioning? And also in my tinkering I removed the DRL fuse and plugged in my raptor lights and there was no way to turn them off...I understand there is constant power there so it makes sense. But since there is no relay, the switch doesn't operate the DRL, only the headlights and such, am I correct in this thinking?
Whats up with there not being a relay in there?

Random addition to this, I must've been hitting the trails and enough bumps that the add-a-fuse for my raptor lights popped out because one of my headlights was burnt out and when I checked the fuse box the raptor lights and the headlight was unplugged from its fuse home.

    Just some weird stuff happening

I think so? But some of the stuff on TW even says they don't come on until the truck is out of park. So maybe they do work and I just can't tell being in the drivers seat (during the day of course)
But the relay im missing seems to be weird....some other pics on tw show that relay box and they've got it in there, a little blue relay next to the battery charger

If I have mine set to drl on , on the switch the come on when I start the truck . But if you have the parking brake on they won’t come on until it’s released.

Do you have a relay in the relay compartment behind the fuse panel in the engine bay?

Take a picture of where you’re talking about and I’ll be able to reference it with mine. I’m at work and can’t get to it at the moment. But I should be able to later on tonight or in the morning.

SR5 have DRL/TURN/HAZARDS as one pair of bulbs.
OR/PRO/LIMITED have the surrounding LED on the headlight assembly.

Yeah I read about that part, and the bulb is definitely not burned out but it doesn't come on until the headlights are on, one click past the DRL selection.

Will do, not home currently either, but i'll post something up when I get back. Im gonna get the relay while I'm out and about as well. Im just confused why it wouldn't be in there in the first place.

Turn engine ON, place light stalk at DRL position, release the parking brake then set it again. Verify DRL BULBS are ON at the headlights.

Gotcha! So if I wanted to upgrade my headlights, then I might need that?
