So I’m new here and just bought a new Tacoma (2023 Trd OR) and I bought some h11 led bulbs and they work for the low beam but I don’t know what the high beam bulb is to order another. Any help?

Should be H9. Put H9 in the low beam as well for more output ... remove the green insert in the low beam plug to make the H9 fit.

Get a big bowl of popcorn ready and read the first post in this: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...ctor-headlights.589465/page-320#post-28811784 . But bottom line is that H9 is easiest way to get better light without swapping the assembly for LEDs.

Heck yea thanks dude. Right before I read this I order the same Hikari bulb because it says it’ll fit the H9 so it’ll be here Thursday. I appreciate it a lot because I’m very new to all of this

The H9 is the cheapest "mod" you can do. Others will offer ideas that can cost thousands (some are $10k deep into mods), including skid plates, sliders, lifts, tires, etc. Beware this trend: :spending:

PnP replacement LEDs are usually a downgrade, since no LED is optically compatible with a halogen assembly despite what the LED vendors would like to tell you. You get a bunch more foreground light and loss of distance light which makes them seem brighter because the light is now right in front of you where it is not supposed to be, and not down range, which is where it is supposed to be. Some Hikers are ok-ish, others are very poor. Putting a $9 Philips H9 bulb in the low beam will outperform any replacement LED by a long shot and is the best available upgrade for the halogen assemblies.

Check out the linked thread. Lots of info.

I was playing on doing tires and probably just seat covers and tint and still kinda keep it simple but sharp

Don't believe the hype. LEDS are not always an immediate upgrade. There is always a time and a place.

I’m kinda regretting it now that I found I could order the oem led headlight with sequential turn signal…

There is a "wheels / tires" forum. Toyo Open Country ATIII and BFG AT K02 are recommended often, but you want more than just my quick observation.

Seat covers can cost hundreds but be a tight/excellent fit (Clazzio) or less.

If I was going to upgrade I would only go with the OEM's. Nothing else seems to have the same quality.

Do not spend until you need to. Try the H9s first, get a sense of what you want to do with the truck first. Else you may regret some of your earliest expensive purchases.. Just my $0.02.

Fifteen hundred or so by the time your new OEM led's are said and done will be the least expensive upgrade you can make that has the biggest bang for those bucks. Never regretted it for a minute and was reminded all way home last night - ten hours in the rain from Lee Vining back to L.A. via Yosemite and Fresno to avoid the storm coming up the Owens Valley and all the flash flooding.

But you have led lights from factory right? Are these h11 and h9 an actual upgrade?

I did the H9 switch, also one of cheapest mods I have done but the best.

LED daytime lights yes,,, regular LED driving/headlights, no, that's an option.
it sounds like dealers confuse this often too

If you get the H9s, you will see something strange against the wall in front ... 2 boxes of the top of the hood. That is the reflector assembly sending a slightly brighter blast just at "eye level" to supplement the light below the hood.
