I’m having my shop lower my Bilsteins from the 5th perch to the 4th perch and do an alignment. So I’m just going to have them do the install of my treat yo self part while I’m there.

I can post some pics of the WeBoost install too if anyone is curious but that’s pretty straightforward I think. I just got the version with the magnetic shark fin antenna because I don’t need to be cool and make my truck look like a command center with the big antenna lol

 

Our small town DMV here in WV at 10am this morning. I was in & out in under 5mins.

I remember on numerous occasions standing in line so long i was standing outside the building at the MVA in essex. It was so brutal I started paying a tag & title service.

 

Ha that's even big compared to the one here in NKY and I'm <10 min from Cincinnati. Other than the last couple days of the month it's in and out. A bad day is only a 10-15 min wait. Don't miss the DMV in Gaithersburg that is for sure. What a nightmare.

Having moved to MD, I miss the DE DMV

 

Are DE tags/reg as expensive as MD?

 

$40/yr for registration. Don't take my word for it because I can't recall 100% but I'm pretty sure most of Delaware fees were cheaper, like only 4.25% documentation fee compared to MD's 6% excise tax.

The New Castle DMV was amazing, man. Modern, quick, clean, efficient. Hell, they even had a damn hot dog cart.

$53 for a 2year registration here in WV. ALOT cheaper compared to Md.

 

Is that tax on new registrations?

Yeah it is! WV doesn't have emissions testing either right?


Here in KY it's not bad. I think like $60 for renewal for 2 years or something like that. Bummer is we have property taxes.

 

The only upside to the MD registration is it being tied in to fund the medivacs. Unless things changed since I worked on them, there is no extra out of pocket cost or insurance costs with being flown by the state police medivacs. Those helicopters are always flying too.

 

True. The gov loves to makes us feel better about paying higher taxes by tying it to heart felt things like that. Here in KY the property taxes are what fund schools.
