    What RPM? Is it when your accelerating from a stop? What octane? Does this also happen mid day when it's warm out? E10 vs e0 will make no difference here.

    I have been using 87 until about 2 tank fulls ago. I went to premium 91. At least for me the difference was significant. Hardly pings at light acceleration and better fuel economy. I switched mainly because of the pinging.

    It's not a knock or ping ...sounds like a sewing machine...lol..
    It's the high pressure fuel system..that's the way its suppose to sound...

    Noo, u can tell there's a different noise like pistons knocking with misfire, but spark plugs are fine, fuel economy fine, smooth idling

    Believe it or not, the truck corresponds to even higher octane than 93. How do I know? Because I run e25 pretty often and I monitor the timing / knock detection. I don’t know where you live but hot ambient temps exacerbate the problem.
