Yeah Atlanta! What did you hit, a tomahawk?

Drove by the area and didn't see anything. Maybe I got slashed on the move by a hater all mad Max style. So could be a tomahawk.. lucky I was 300 yards from my house. It was completely flat by the time the light turned green.
Discount tire is replacing it under their warranty. Cost me $41 in total. Tires about 2 years old and about 25k miles on it.

How did this one work out for you? The bolt on the one I used of my friends broke, said they have replaced it twice now.

It had a hard time grabbing the spring next to the shock body - not enough room between the coil and body. I was able to use it to remove the springs, but unable to use it to install the springs. :(

    It got sent back yesterday...

Yeah the wall mount vertical spring compressors are about the only ones I will mess with now. Luckily I have a freind next door with one.

I've used those - they work great.

Obviously, too much money for occasional use. I was hoping the OTC one I had would be a good once-in-a-while-use substitute. Unfortunately not.

Does TWGA have a preferred grease gun? All the Amazon ones seem sketchy. I just wanna grease my zerks and trailer axles.

Misplaced my last grease gun (one of those Amazon specials) during a move so I ordered this recently:

    upload_2023-8-21_16-44-46.png

I had the lock n lube coupler on my last gun and it worked great so I assumed this gun would be good. So far I have no complaints about the gun and it's function, and for the time I've owned it (2 months) it's the first grease gun I've ever had that doesn't leak. Only negative I've found is the coupler is slightly too large to reach the zirk fittings on the front propeller shaft. Not sure why since I had the exact same coupler on my last gun and it fit fine.

I just got a Lincoln 1134 from Tooltopia on eBay. Very nice gun.

Not sure if anybody else has seen this but there's an Air Show in October 7-8, I know a few guys may enjoy this. I'm taking my dad on that Saturday

It's been many years since I've been to that show.

That is the weekend I am planning on running the Traverse.

    Maybe we can change weekends.

I have heard about some road closures along the route - I need to investigate those.
