Being in the position of having to buy something right now many times, it's not ideal. You can be picky as you should be.

Ain't that what the man from Nantucket does?

    And a Slayer shirt..hell yes.

Got offered tickets but I had to pass, had to pick the wife up in NH instead. Though I was at Ghost Saturday night

It's all about the apps nowadays. McDonald's is probably the best at it.

Surprisngly, I'm impressed with the quality and the cost of the cinemark in Salem. When there's a cook..
But it's like $9 with the pass to get a burger and fries

I'm not really an app person for most things. Why am I going to do my transaction online when I'm showing up in person anyway? If it's just to present a coupon, that's not too bad. I just don't want to be in line trying to remember my password when the app logs me out.

I also don't really like the idea that this is inventivizing everyone to do everything through apps, then we slowly become a cashless society like China, where I think all payments are basically done through 1 of 2 apps.

I used to hate the food apps, but now, I sit at home or in the parking lot, look at the menu, find deals and coupons, and place my order. Some places even bring it out to your vehicle, easier than drive thru.

I used to work down the road from a subway. When you forgot lunch, didn't bring lunch, missed lunch whatever - I would throw in an order online. It was great, because I'd drive up there, walk in and pass the line of like 14 people and just pick up my to go order  the dirty looks were great.

Actually speaking of which there's a popeyes going in over there. Gotta see what progress has been made on that.

I've used food apps in exactly one scenario, when I forget my wallet at home and can't deal with skipping lunch lol

I think of my boat as a 5' wide kayak, that I can stand up in, and I don't have to paddle.

LBJ's, what do those feel like when they start to give up the ghost? I have a very slight shimmy in the wheel, torque checked most everything, but I'm also at 132k on oversized tires and just spent a weekend beating the ever-loving crap out of them so it wouldn't surprise me if it's time lol. Just rotated the tires so I'm gonna keep an eye on things but I'd also rather just be proactive
