    True about the pinewood derby cars. After going through Cub Scouts and becoming an Eagle I've made a few pinewood derby cars!

    It's so fun and the kids love it. Last year we gave a special award to the kid with the slowest car: "Best Brakes." He was ecstatic to get it. One of my favorite days of the year!

    I assume narrower wheels are also better for fuel efficiency. At least they are when gravity is your driver and you want to reduce friction. This might not ring quite as true on a Taco. Physics is not my bailiwick. Where's the physics guys?

    That's nice.

    They do talk about how narrower tires increase ground pressure or more weight per a square inch which is possibly more resistance :notsure:

    Get an aero wheel like what you see the salt flat guys run and what ever tires you see on Prius. You know Toyota did a lot of research to find low rolling resisting tire that's safe on the road.
