Cinder Hills Takeover! Labor Day weekend

That's what I keep telling myself, but my OCD and that of the Fiance wants to paint match the fenders someday lol.

Yeah, cutoff wheel would do the trick since it's Alum, but in the grand scheme of things I wanted to cut some triangles to make the width match as well.

 

Yeah I figure I'll hit the inner fenders on hard hits. I'd rather hit bumper than inner fenders and fiberglass, but I gotta cycle it fully to find out. Old neighbor has a lift I should really take advantage of, but I'm an introvert.

 

Did you go +2 or +4?

Then yeah you might have to trim glass too. I guess it depends if you hit inner fenders or not

Nope. I've got a competition planned for that weekend.

 

Don't think I'm going to be able to swing this one with a bunch of moving pieces at work right now.

Maintaining the follow in case I find some reprieve and can escape.

 

Weather is looking prime for next weekend. 70-75 for the hi and overnight lows around 50. That said for the out of towners/ out of state guys. Flagstaff may be in AZ but we are at 7k ft elevation up in the mountains so be ready for a little less oxygen up here lol (Cali guys that’s higher than the town of mammoth). Also it is monsoon season and while it has been pretty light lately we have been getting daily rain lasting for an hour or so.

Gonna be a long next couple of days waiting for this trip to happen!!!

Nice, I’m in for Saturday and dropping by later in the day Friday.

Prep is in full swing. Not able to do any fab work on the bumper or bash plate, but getting this oil pan skid fixed and cleaning the bed in preparation for gear.

Ps: trailer is my dads, and no, my truck cannot pull it.
