Thank you! Agreed, GSDs are a wonderful breed. Sophie is my 3rd and I love her immensely. I still think about and miss my first pack (Bane and Maji) to this day. Great dogs!

They're a bit like Labradors. You can get German or American influenced versions. I prefer the German standard for the less angular hind end. For some reasons, American breeders focus on that slinky look, like the dog is sitting while it walks...

GSD's are wonderful dogs. Great companions.

 

Couldn't agree with you more! All three of my pup's lineage leaned European, i.e., appropriate working squat IMO.

 

By the way, Kimo is an American style labrador, tall and slender. The English are short and chunky. I don't understand the difference, both make great retrievers and pets. I did learn yesterday that Kimo will potty walk while retrieving. Holy shit batman!

 

I love most dogs.

But I'd never have a Standard Poodle. Because this is America, and if I'm going to have a Poodle, it's going to be a Poodle with all the options.

 

Is that a poodle with different breeds as “mix ins” like ice cream? My friend’s roommate had a poodle/Great Dane mix, that was a wild looking dog

As they told us hold food for 18 to 24 hrs. to clear system. Then boiled chicken breast and over boiled rice slowly reintroduced. but I'm sure you know this.

 

Sometimes just adding pumpkin puree into their food works wonders.

 

Be sure it’s just the pumpkin and no other ingredients.

So true, Callie is a very social dog. Since she was a puppy she wants to approach every guest that stays with us and when she does her whole butt is moving with her tail. Every once in awhile she will start to approach and she'll just stop, look back at me and head in a different direction.
