Need advise about Wreck damage

I got rear-ended at a redlight friday afternoon and at first I didn't think much of the damage. The guy stopped before he said his foot slipped so it was a low speed crash. At first I thought the bumper was the only thing damaged but saturday afternoon I noticed that there was a dent on the back corner of the cab and the paint was cracked. It definitely wasn't there before and the only thing I can come up with is that the bed flexed and hit the cab. Should I be worried about bolts being broken or even the frame being bent? The bed doesn't look like its shifted.

I'll try to get pictures of what I'm talking about tomorrow so you can see what I'm talking about.

 

I think the bed will flex from the mounts enough to contact the cab. But then again, if he hit you hard enough for that to happen then maybe you need to have it checked out. Hopefully someone that knows better will chime in for you. Good luck!

 

I'm going to call the guys insurance tomorrow and see how they want to go about having it fixed. The only thing that makes me worry is the guy had a winch bumper that hung pretty low. If he didn't the tailgate probably would've been damaged too. His bumper hit mine pretty square which makes me wonder if maybe the bumper brackets didn't absorb all of the impact and the frame was damaged.

First off, pay no attention to what kind of truck I'm talking about. Now, on to my story. The car behind me was rear-ended and pushed into me. We were both stopped at a red light. All 4 front corners of my bed hit the cab. Body shop guy said beds are mounted that way so as to flex and somehow absorb the blow. He assured me it was completely normal and expected. There was no frame damage.
