For some reason heatwaves are big with electricians i find

 

Hmm lemme put them side by side with a few of my old school Oakleys

 

The nosepiece looks similar to the old school Oakleys which is a plus

 

Some old school sets are worth a hundred or more

 

damn, should've kept those annoying little bastards

To the right, my old school M Frame Sweeps

They are long outdated and almost 20 years old; these served with me in Iraq

The set to the left are the most recent iteration, still a good 5+ years old



Unfortunately I lost the nose piece to my originals but still have them on the other set



The Heat Wave has a nose piece that not only comforts the sides but also the bridge of my nose; that's really my only gripe with these Oakleys and my other ones

I do own clear frames for my Oakleys but not sure where they're at right now so I'll compare it with my other clear set

My half jackets that I dedicated to shooting



Unfortunately, even with other style Oakleys they too have a nose piece that doesn't sit on the bridge at all leading to slight pinching




And last but not least, my "shop" glasses that I use in the garage as well as the welding shops I worked at



Not much coverage up front, and none at all on the sides as I showed earlier

I thought they would've been comfortable too since the only pair of shades I actually wear are these Straightlinks which have a similar style as the Milwaukees

 

Crazy. All the listings for the metal ones I posted are like $2K+

imagine buying those then accidentally sitting on them or something

I stopped spending more than $20 on sunglasses a long time ago, they just get damaged or lost eventually.

 

I'd bet its a lot of Tyler Durden cosplayers that buy em haha

 

Had to fix it to show another image, but yeah feels way more supported on the nose

 

I think my dude has dimples on each side
