Depends on skill level, but I've read 3-5 days. I'm trying to do more biking, but for lunch yesterday I biked 6.5 miles on my half hour lunch break, so I could see getting it done in 3 days, 2 nights.

Most of my biking has been short distance at Fair Hill. Never been bikepacking myself but I'm looling to gear up and plan either a mid-late fall or spring venture

 

Nice. I could see that being doable in that time frame. 6.5 in 30 min is moving! Was that all road?

 

Yeah, it was all road. I unfortunately only have 30 minutes from work stop to start up again so that includes my changing into shorts and getting the bike out of my truck. Monday's average speed was 14.2mph for 6.48mi and this afternoon I was up to 14.9mph for 6.6mi. Working my way up there!

Sheet, looks bad. Sorry I can’t offer any real advice but I remember someone having a safe-t cap or w/e it’s called put on their T4R in Churchville. I’ll try and search these pages, maybe they can offer advice if I can find it.

 

Gotta troubleshoot my back up camera this weekend. Noticed the last few times I’ve been out it’s not worked. No video. Front camera still works.

i have an aftermarket front camera module so I’ll start with that.

 

Maybe a broken wire where the tailgate hinges…?

 

That’s the first thing I’ll check once I get a chance tomorrow. Good thing I know how to back up without that camera lol
Pulling the radio out to check the box for the front camera and the rear plugs into isn’t difficult either. It will probably take me longer to find my 10 or 12mm socket.

Morning all… looks like we may be getting wet today!

 

Ugh!! 10-12mm sockets… most commonly used tool in all our vehicles and toys. Yet, it always disappears!!

 

Im driving on assateague this weekend, hopefully I can actually catch a fish this time

 

What are you using for bait? We like squid. All Tackle is a great shop down there and they’ll show you all the right rigs if you have questions. Just be forewarned… when you thaw a box of squid in the kitchen sink, it will smell. The wife will not be happy!! Lol! Not sure your availability, but try to go out 2hrs before sunset. We fish through the night until about 9am. Takes patience, but when you sink that hook into a 5’ shark… and you fight it for upwards of 30 minutes… worth it!!
