Wish we could join y'all but I work Friday and likely won't be starting my drive until 5:30 which won't put me in town until almost 8:30pm.

 

I work Friday too nah I took it off.

I dunno what the timetable looks like right now (it's probably in the PM but oh well) but we're probably not getting in until 7ish, maybe a bit earlier. We'll be around if you can make it we're in site 145, I think everyone else is nearby too.

Yup. If we get in early enough we'll blow by AOAA and go there, at least that's my thoughts.

That place has some good home brews, AND they sold macrobrews. When I went in '21, I figured I'd find beer in town/nearby. Turns out, no. I figured I'd stop there and see if they had any growlers/home brews and they had 12/24/30 packs of mich/miller/something, I dunno, but it was welcomed! Don't know if they still do. But now I know to be prepared, and I'm giving that keg my best this year.

 

I also learned apparently they don't let you bring in firewood from out of state. Good thing all my MD firewood is organic, free-range firewood sourced from the finest PA wood farms...

 

How do they decide where your firewood is from? They see a MD plate and make you throw it in the woods?

 

Perfect! As soon as it hits the ground, it's locally-sourced and responsibly harvested free-range PA wood

 

I'm planning on being there bright and early Friday morning with one of my work buddies that wanted to tag along in his Nissan.

TRying to figure out my tent/food/shower situation. My classes for that weekend got cancelled, so I may be able to spend till Sunday out there (instead of the original plan of running back and forth on Friday).

 

I'll have a stove and might get a two burner electric too.

If it was warmer I'd say hobo shower in a river but yeah. Shrinkage. I have a shower bag, haven't used it yet but might give it's inauguration at aoaa.

 

It's a couple of days in the fall. No one is going to smell too bad what with all the smoke going on.
